A ray of darkness from open skies
The music muted

Notes of somber grey

The echoes of smiling eyes
Fade

Vibrant colours
Bow their heads

In silent respect

Some change the world
For good

Not for power
Not for conquest

But for simple courage
And the beauty of laughter

All things end
But memories live longest

And bittersweet

What lingers most
Are the smiles

But for now
Sadness

And wishes
Of peace
